Prestbury Community Garage Sale

Saturday, July 23, 2022. 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Reminders… REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO MONDAY JULY 18TH 1:00pm

Register  to have your location shown on the sale map.

Place your registration form and $10.00 check (payable to Chris Weigert) in an envelope marked “Prestbury Garage Sale” and drop it in the PCA Mail Box across from the Clubhouse.

Your fee helps defray the cost of signs, maps, advertising, port-a-potty, and security.  Any remaining, excess funds, will be held over for next year’s sale, or used for any replacement items needed to continue this event.

• Signs:

Starting the week of July 17th, each registered household will need to pick up their yard sign along with maps at 140 N. Buckingham Dr.

To ensure the safety of our residents and guests, and to comply with fire regulations, No Parking signs will be placed in heavily traveled areas. Please do not remove them.

Directional signs will be placed through out the community. These are the only directional signs permitted. Please do not mark up yard signs for this purpose, as it ruins the signs for future use.

• Maps:

Each household receives a supply of maps along with their yard sign.

Additional maps will be available at the major entrances to Prestbury on the sale day Saturday, July 23rd, 2022.

For the benefit of our shoppers, we encourage the sale of drinks, snacks and/or sandwiches.

Please note any food items on your registration form, for inclusion on the map.

• A port-a-potty will again be in the Hankes Park parking lot for guest’s use.
• Leftover Sale Items:

St. Vincent de Paul will pickup on Saturday starting at 3:00 pm, immediately following the sale.

If you would like to be on the pickup list, note this on your registration form, or contact Chris by phone by Monday July 11, 2022.

PLEASE NOTE St. Vincent may NOT be able to take all your leftover garage sale items.

St. Vincent de Paul will take clean usable furniture, clothing, and most gently used items. Magazines, books and textbooks are OK but must be boxed, not in bags.  No exercise equipment except exercise bikes. Also, no cribs, pack-n-plays, car seats, high chairs or other items a baby would sit in. No TV’s, and no holiday items.

If you have large furniture items, please call and schedule an individual pickup. Phone numbers are on the Registration Form.

Tape a note on your donation(s) that says “St. Vincent de Paul.” Place items at the end of your driveway.

If you need a pickup on another day or prefer another organization, please see the registration form for additional organizations.

If you plan to dispose of items through Advanced Disposal, please do not place them at the end of your driveway before 5:00 PM on the Tuesday following the sale – Prestbury Community rules.
