Yacht Club of America, Reciprocity
Annual Meeting at Colonial Restaurant
Because PYC is a registered yacht club, we enjoy the privileges of membership which include reciprocity arrangements allowing us access, as visiting guests, to many of the great yacht clubs throughout the United States such as the San Diego Yacht Club, Miami's Coral Reef Yacht Club, Chicago Yacht Club, and the Columbia Yacht Club among others.
Our own social calendar includes trips to boat show, group outings to other yacht clubs, after race parties, a summer social, community wide parties and our annual Commodore's dinner. Our club is a great way to meet and socialize with your Prestbury neighbors.
Last but not least, we are a yacht club. As such we conduct a complete sailboat racing season. Novices as well as "Old Salts" are invited. Come and sail or watch on race days. If you would like, several members have offered to help instructing those who either would like to learn how to sail or would like some pointers concerning racing techniques. Mostly, we just enjoy the sailing and a good time.
