Prestbury Fishing Club Prestbury Fishing Club Minutes June 4 Meeting
The Prestbury Fishing Club (PFC) is open to all Prestbury residents with a shared commitment to enhancing the quality of recreational fishing on our community lakes. If any Prestbury residents are interested in joining the PFC or would like more information about our planned programs and activities, contact:
Restocking Program Steve Keierleber reported on the status of the lake restocking program. Bass and minnows have been re-introduced into Lake Prestbury. The supplier will be replacing some that died within a day or two of the restocking at no additional cost. Citizens of Prestbury are asked to contribute to the restocking effort of the lake by making checks payable to The Prestbury Fishing Club and forwarding the check to Tom or Steve or to the PCA office. One hundred percent of all contributions are used for restocking. Fish Catches Steve Keierleber reported that since the last meeting he has caught several bass. Most were caught near the shoreline. Aerators The need for year-round, 24/7 aerators in Lake Prestbury was discussed at some length. The Prestbury Fishing Club is working with Mr. Ed Powers, on the PCA board on this issue. The club will be making a specific product recommendation regarding an aerator to Mr. Powers. Next Meeting The next meeting will be held on July 2 at 7:00pm at Tom Dornback’s townhouse in Turtle Cove, 21 East Windsor Court.
