Donations will be sought to raise funds to support the health of the lakes. The PFC will also participate and assist in this years Prestbury fishing derby. Several ideas were discussed. Tom Dornback will communicate those suggestions to Erica Cox, Prestbury board member. Fishing reports were then presented. Several bass were caught during ice fishing and several more have been caught since ice out. The fish caught appeared to be in good health. The PFC participated in an extensive cleanup of dead Shad from Lake Prestbury on 22 March 2003. About one ton of shad were removed from the lake in a 5 hour effort. Shad are not game fish and this does not constitute a fish kill as we had two years ago. Tom Dornback for the PFC club |
