The July meeting of the Prestbury fishing club was held on Monday 29 July
2002 at 21 East Windsor Court.

In attendance were George Hauser, President, Steve Keierleber, Tom Dornback,
Marty Swanson, and Aurey Davy.

Tom Dornback repeated his suggestion that we have a very similar stocking
program for Lake Prestbury and Lake Buckingham this fall, as we did in the
spring.  The funds for this fall stocking program would come from the PFC
treasury, from donations and the garage sale of 2002.

Tom specifically proposed that we add:
the same number of smaller bass that we added in the spring of 2002 (about
500)
about 2x to 3x the number of minnows that were added in the spring of 2002
about 100 additional small catfish of the same type that were added in the
spring
about 50 - 100 crappies if they are available
a few northerns if they are available
no more bluegills at this time

George Hauser said he would contact the Kane County offices that we used for
fish stocking in the spring.

There was some discussion on various methods to reduce the carp population.
Tom Dornback is investigating one of the suggestions that was made.

The next meeting of the PFC is tentatively scheduled for 26 August at 21
East Windsor Court at 7pm.

All Prestbury residents interested in joining the fishing club are welcome.

All residents that fish either lake are asked not to return carp or
bullheads to the lake.  All other fish are catch-and-release.
